Will have a one man show displaying his unique brand of art for the benefit of the Watkins Award. He will be unveiling new pieces never before seen at the event. Please come out and support these outstanding Watkins Award finalist and the work of the National Alliance of African American Athletes.

	Mikel Kilgour is not a "jack-of-trades" by no means but he is indeed a "renaissance man" in that he masters every facet of what he represents.
	The artist/designer has been the subject of many magazine and newspaper articles that has appeared in THE NEW YORK TIMES, THE PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER, THE NEWARK STAR LEDGER, THE DAILY JOURNAL, ESSENCE, BLACK ELEGANCE, ELLE, HARPER'S BAZAAR, SAVOY, UPSCALE, and BLACK ENTERPRISE magazine whose cover he graced IN JULY OF 2000. Television appearances include GOOD MORNING AMERICA, GOOD MORNING NEW YORK, CNN TRENDS, CBS NEWS, FOX 5 NEWS, NBC NEWS, and MAIN STREET AMERICA. He, along with his wife, received the MOET AND CHANDON DESIGNER OF THE YEAR AWARD in 2003 and Kilgore received an Achievement Award from TODAY'S BLACK WOMAN magazine for his role in training and sending aspiring minority fashion models to Europe
